I was a full-time teacher before I decided to quit my job. It’s crazy for an achiever to choose the “other path” apart from what my society dictates me. As an achiever, they expect you to work in multinational companies. In my case, as a teacher, I was supposed to be in a full-time job in a good school in town.
But it didn’t have a spark in me. I knew there’s something more I could do than teaching. I know I love to teach but does my working condition (at the time) worth it?
I left my job for writing. I became a writer and now an aspiring author (technically an author with 3 finished books under my belt). Although I didn’t achieve much as I’ve achieved before, but I am aware that I’m on the right path, where everyone wonders why and afraid to risk, not even dare to take a step.
For this post, thank you so much for sharing your experience. We’re on the same page as now. I finished my book and that’s a big credit to NaNoWriMo 2018. My first entry, my first win. Thank you so much! :D
